This weekend Scottish Liberal Democrats say goodbye, just for a few months, to the fabulous Hannah Bettsworth, who’s off to Spain for the third year of her university degree.
We’re going to miss her cos she’s so conscientious, works so hard, and is a joy to have around.
She’s dedicated this Summer to saving the UK – and here are her reasons why:

At least a year abroad is very different now than it was 30 years ago now that we have social media to keep us in touch with each other.
Hannah, thanks for the power of work you’ve done over the past 3 years for the party. We’ll miss you but have the best time in Spain. I can’t help being slightly jealous that you will be going to much more temperate climes.
I’m sure you won’t mind me reminding people that your trip is possible because Scotland is in the EU which it is as part of the UK and is not guaranteed to be if we choose independence, not immediately anyway.
